Young Professionals in Parliamentary Procedure, or YP3, educates youth and young professionals on the principles of parliamentary procedure as they relate to meeting management and non-profit governance, provides opportunities for volunteer leadership, and establishes a forum to exchange information among our membership. We are a tax-exempt Section 501(c)(3) District of Columbia non-profit corporation.
Our mission is to make your organization’s mission possible. We do this by connecting and educating youth and young professionals in meeting procedure and democratic decision-making to groom future generations into an informed and active citizenry that can lead and govern organizations.
We are also affiliated with the National Association of Parliamentarians as a constituent division. Our unit–Young Professionals Parliamentary Practice Unit (YP3U)–is wholly-owned and operated by us. If you join YP3 and are a member of NAP, you will automatically be a member of YP3U.
YP3U is affiliated with the Electronic Association of Parliamentarians. All YP3U members are encouraged to join this sister association which has a separate application process.
